Dushitsa (lat. Oreganum Vulgaris) is known in North America as Oregano.
It is perennial plant, has purple flowers and olive colored leaves. There known about 55 different types of Oreganum genus. Dushitsa Aurora or "Northern Lights" has very distinct scent and hint of honey taste in herbal tea made with fried flowers and leaves.
Due to the unique set of medicinal and mineral properties, Dushitsa has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antispasmodic, analgesic, sedative and other properties.
It is really versatile herb that can help with many symptoms like cold, muscle pain, headaches, allergies, fatigue, menstrual cramps and more.
The culinary use of Oregano's dried leaves is most known as "pizza herb". It is very popular in Italy, Greece and Turkey cuisines.

Packet contains approximately 50 seeds.
Start seeds indoors, spread them evenly on the top of slightly packed soil, do not cover with soil.
Keep seeds moist, mist water over the seeds trying to not wash them off.
Cover container with transparent lid and place in sunny spot.
After germination, wait till plants get 1-2 inches tall before transplanting in bigger pots.
Plant outside when weather permits. It will spread wider year after year - plan for that.
