Our favorite garden flower for three reasons: a) it's very hardy,  b) easy no-maintenance  grow, c) amazing flowers by vivid fuchsia color, size and shape. German Iris blooms in early summer, catching eye with beautiful flowers, they have a slight pleasant scent too. But when flowers are gone, the plant remains pretty showy itself for the rest of summer with dark green spiky foliage.

Grows to 2.5 feet tall, Flower stems up to 4 feet. The plant requires at least 3 feet diameter space around the root. German Iris spreads the roots very enthusiastically and will quickly fill up all the space around it you allow it to fill.

Sold by each rhizome. It is a "root node" that is able to shoot new roots and multiply very quickly.

Shipping starts in April-May.
