English Lavender Seeds Mix
Our English Lavender seed mix brings together three classic, organically grown varieties from our farm garden:
Hidcote – deep purple flowers, compact growth
Munstead – soft lavender-purple, excellent for culinary use
Vera – pale purple-blue, known as the best for essential oil
All three varieties are fragrant, versatile, and hardy, perfect for use in aromatherapy, cooking, cosmetics, and natural remedies.
Plant Features
Type: Perennial shrub
Height & Spread: 12–16" tall, up to 36" wide
Bloom Time: Mid-summer (late June), with a second bloom in early fall (September) if trimmed after the first bloom
Climate: Exceptionally hardy in Ontario – thrives in cold, wet winters and hot, dry summers
Soil Needs: Prefers sandy, well-drained soil but will adapt to clay if enriched with compost. Important: Lavender cannot tolerate standing water.
