Since last post, long time took us to build the look-outs all around the roof edge, as well as we finished the attic floor, so that now I will be able to walk under the roof to hang up garlic, lavender, tobacco and such for drying. I ordered the trusses of a certain layout so that there is an almost 5-feet tall open space just under the ridge.

And now sheeting started and goes very quick. It is appears to be a "just-one-man" operation. My husband manages to pull each sheet up on the rope using just a ladder as a "railway" all way up, then he nails it down and up goes the next one. In scorching hot days like they are lately, he manages to get up 5 sheets per day. It's not a big rush except that I am taking the whole week vacation starting next Monday to start shingling the roof.
