English Lavender seeds package includes mixes seeds from 3 English Lavender varieties: Hidcote, Munstead and Vera. These varieties are grown organically in our farm garden, and can be used as herb for medicinal purposes, aromatherapy, culinary, cosmetics and more. Very fragrant flowers have different shades of purple: dark purple Hidcote, light purple Munstead, light purple-blue Vera. English Lavender is best for essential oil production. Very hardy in our Ontario climate: tolerates cold wet winter and hot dry summer.

Perennial shrub, grows 12-16" tall and 36" wide, blooms mid summer (end of June) and will bloom again late summer (September) if cut first time in June. Prefers sandy soil, but can adapt even to clay if some rich soil added when planted. Good drainage is a must, it is absolutely intolerable to standing water in the ground even for short periods and will die.

Very attractive to bees and butterflies, which will by the way pollinate all other fruits and vegetable in your garden, bringing more harvest !

One packet contains approximately 0.5g or 200 seeds.
