Zucchini Seeds

Zucchini is a versatile summer squash with ribbed green fruits that can grow up to 60 cm long. Young zucchini have tender, soft skin and a delicate, nutty flavor, perfect for steaming, sautéing, baking, or grilling.

Pick them while they are small (about 15 cm) to encourage more blossoms and higher yields, or leave them to grow larger for roasting or stuffing.

Originating in Italy, the zucchini was developed from early squash varieties brought from the Americas and has become a staple of Italian cuisine.

Health Benefits

Zucchini is low in calories but high in dietary fiber. One medium zucchini (~200 g) contains roughly 2–3 g of dietary fiber, which is around 10% of the recommended daily intake for an average adult. Fiber supports healthy digestion, lowers cholesterol, helps maintain blood pressure, and may reduce the risk of colon cancer.
