German Iris – Hardy Beauty for Every Garden

German Iris is our favorite garden flower — and for good reason - because it is:

• exceptionally hardy,
•  delightfully low-maintenance, and
• absolutely stunning when in bloom.

In early summer, it bursts into magnificent fuchsia-colored flowers with large, elegant petals and a soft, pleasant fragrance. Even after the blooms fade, the plant continues to impress with its striking dark green, sword-like foliage that stays attractive all season long.

German Iris grows up to 2.5 feet tall, with flower stems reaching up to 4 feet. Each plant needs about 3 feet of space around its root area — it loves to spread and will quickly fill the space you give it.

Sold by the rhizome — each one is a living root node ready to grow, multiply, and reward you with years of beauty.
