A stunning black-fruited variety, Tomato Onyx is prized for both its striking appearance and its exceptional sweetness. With heavy yields of richly colored fruit, it makes a unique and flavorful addition to any garden.
- Fruit: Abundant clusters of golf ball–sized tomatoes, up to 2 inches in diameter. Smooth, globe-shaped fruits with deep black skin and striking red flesh inside. Each plant can yield 50 or more fruits in a season.
- Flavor: shows a subtle prune note when fully ripe, with juicy texture and a pleasing balance of richness and brightness. Best flavor is achieved when the fruit’s underside turns a reddish-burgundy hue.
