German Red Garlic Bulbils (True Garlic Seeds)
These bulbils are the true seeds of German Red Garlic — the same variety as our popular hardneck bulbs, but grown from the plant’s airborne flower heads instead of underground cloves.
Unlike hardneck garlic cloves, bulbils are planted in spring. By September, they mature into small, single-clove round bulbs known as “rounds.” These rounds can then be replanted in the fall, alongside your regular cloves, to produce medium-sized, multi-clove bulbs the following year.
Propagating garlic from bulbils is an excellent way to expand your garlic stock naturally while maintaining a disease-free crop, since bulbils don’t carry soil-borne diseases.
Each packet contains 10 grams of bulbils — approximately 50 true garlic seeds — ready to start your next generation of healthy, vigorous garlic plants.
