Rhubarb is very popular perennial plant, that has both dietary and decorative properties. Not only it looks gorgeous in your garden, but also provide healthy edible stalks, that are cooked with sugar to make pies, crisps and other desserts. They can also be eaten fresh in salads. It is very easy to grow rhubarb from seeds: just soak seeds in water overnight and plant in pots 5mm below surface. Water periodically. When plant is about 15cm tall - it is ready to be transplanted into the garden. The plant grows bigger every year. Plant at least 3 feet apart from other plants.
