Burley tobacco is widely used in cigarette production in US, but is not grown
commercially in Canada.
Plants grow up to 5-feet tall with large leaves. It is good,
very productive tobacco, but requires a little more care then other Canadian grown tobacco types, i.e. it suffers in drought conditions, and leaves break easily in strong wind. Leaves cure into a light brown color. Excellent for pipes and cigarette blend.
